To ban whaling in the untied states under all circumstances

Created by B.V. on April 15, 2013

Although we cannot stop countries like Japan from killing dolphins and whales, and selling dolphin meat that is high in mercury we can make a difference here in the United States. Although there is the (MMPA) Marine Mammal Protection Act that makes it illegal for any person residing in the United States to kill, hunt, injure, and harass all species of marine mammals regardless of their population status it isn't enforced as much as it should be, we would like to make harsher punishments for people who break the law going against the MMPA. Help save our mammals! For more information, please watch the movie The Cove an eye opening documentary on what the Japanese in Taiji, Japan do to their dolphins even though its "illegal."
