Student loan programs have different options of payments for people that can afford to pay, but sometimes students and/or families can’t afford to make payments for multiple issues. The law allows discharging any debt through bankruptcy but not student loan.
Individuals and families should have the right to discharge their student loans with their other debts in order to be able to start over. Allowing other debts to be discharged, but not student loan doesn’t make sense for people that want to start over.
It doesn’t make sense for people to graduate with BA or MBA and can’t afford to buying house because of their student loan or can’t start family at the right time. People that can afford to pay, should pay, but people that can’t afford making payment should be allowed to file bankruptc
