We simply do not have adequate means to support the complex needs of killer whales. These intelligent mammals have been historically subject to physical and psychological abuse in captivity, and often, mothers are separated from their young.
If only sacrifice is entertainment, what possible reason do we have to continue to subject these animals to this inhumane treatment?
