On banning the production of polyethylene micro beads.

Please ban in a very timely manner the production and use of all types of plastic (polyethylene and other types) of micro beads in health care products, cosmetics and other products in which they occur. These beads pose a significant risk to the environment as they bypass sewage treatment facilities due to their size and end up in the water cycle. It is senseless pollution that does not need to occur. The studies on the long term effects of these beads being ingested into the human body are not fully understood. States are beginning to ban the use of these beads, please follow suit. Of note: I am not a rabid environmentalist, I work at a coal-fired power plant. I just don't like useless idiocy such as this product.
