We need a basic core curriculum in our pre-K-12th grades. If states want to expand on it by adding more Math, Sci, Art, Great. A this time we have students applying for college w/ different educations, by no fault of their own. By reducing administrative cost $$ saved can meet the educational needs of our students. Students are forced to apply for college or even just graduate from high school without a firm educational foundation. If we continue to send our children out into the world unprepared we will continue to fall in the world economy. We need our High School graduated to be able to do basic math $ read at a 12th grade level. Our students entering college need to be ready for the challenges before them. A poor education puts them at a disadvantage. Equal resources for every student.
