Be Aware of Motorcycles, and fines.

Created by D.D. on June 01, 2015

According to the NHTSA, only 2% of all registered vehicles are motorcycles, but motorcycles account for 5% of highway fatalities per year. In addition, 80% of all motorcycle crashes result in injury or death.

Requiring "Be Aware of Motorcycles" street signs would assist in reducing motorcycle accidents. It will ensure safe travel on a two-wheel vehicle. It will prevent crimes of vehicular manslaughter and vehicular homicide. It will prevent hospitalizations and loss of life.

As bicycles have the bike lane on city streets, motorcycles on interstates, highways and city streets should have posted yellow diamond warning signs, as people follow color-coded signs.
