Mr. President, if you are going to have your constituents go through the trouble of creating petitions that are supposed to be reviewed after certain qualifications are met, then it should be so.
Step 3 of "We the People" states:
"If a petition meets the signature threshold, it will be reviewed by the Administration and we will issue a response."
This is far too vague and basically means that if the Administration doesn't feel like responding it can just say that it is taking too long and just wait till he isn't in the White House anymore!
I speak for all Americans when I say that we need the people to become more involved with government and this is how it is done, for now. Embrace that the people want you to listen!
