Be more active in bringing the unlawful takeover of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge to an end

We all hope for a peaceful resolution to the takeover of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Oregon. However, we are a society of laws and people do not have a right to ignore the laws and use armed intimidation to achieve their goals. More decisive action needs to be taken to bring this occupation of federal property to an end. A more visible presence needs to be made in the area - starting at least with roadblocks so that these lawbreakers cannot travel, acquire supplies, or peddle their delusions to the media. Law enforcement needs to be supplied with adequate resources to deal with these dangerous people safely. Continuing to take a low key approach to resolving this takeover will only encourage other radical groups to think they can do whatever they want if they have enough guns.
