Standardized tests in some states allow the board of each county to judge the teachers teaching skills. For virginia this test is a graduation requirement. It pushes students to learn a specific amount of information in a certain amount of time. Students have a hard time learning as it is and to have a test determine whether you earn your diploma or not is unfair to the students, parents, and teachers.
