I would like to see the elimination of the house of representatives and half the senate. We don't need representation any more with the computer and internet we can vote on issues ourselves. One senator from each state to vote when a two week mimimum is too long and immediate action is required that a full vote could undo later. Videos of one senator for a bill and one against with citizen comments optional must be watched before a citizen could register a vote. This idea would take big money, partisanship, and pork barrell politics completely out of the picture. Isn't providing citizens with computer and internet access cheaper than lifetime pay and benefit packages? Sign for government that is truely for and by the people.
