Become A Teacher Mr. President!

We in Mr. Mike Mason’s class at Vashon High School in Washington State have a radical idea based on Cinque Henderson’s article in The New Yorker magazine. Mr. Obama says that he misses teaching, and may be returning to Columbia University. Obama shouldn’t teach at an Ivy League, or any college at all. Instead, he should spend a year, maybe part-time, at an inner city high school. A single course of U.S. Government would suit him well. Only 2% of school teachers are African American men, and teachers, in general, are leaving the profession at an alarming rate.
