Begin action to constitutionally institute term limits for the Congress and Senate of the United States.

Created by J.A. on November 14, 2012

The Congress and the Senate of the USA have become lifetime poltical career zones without term limits whereby winning the next election trumps the interests and welfare of the American people. This is contrary to the founding fathers
inate intent of public service-Whereby public servants are not lifetime politicians and actually returned to their districts in other occupations and productive roles.
Therefore, the constitional amendment proposal to institute term limits as follows is submitted for introduction by Congress : A maximum of 10 years service within a lifetime for any member in the House of Representatives and a maximum of 12 years in the Senate; and not to exceed 16 years in any combination.
