Encourage retailers and shoppers to highlight "Made in America" products for this holiday season. Frame it as a patriotic act to help jump start the economy. It's worked in the past and it can work again. Some worry that China will stop buying our treasuries if we adopt a nationalistic attitude toward products we purchase but China has nowhere else to park their money. The trade deficit with China is in excess of $500 Billion and we (TOGETHER) could and should put a dent in that number.
