Begin to back the U.S. Dollar with gold for the first time since 1934.

Created by J.G. on January 12, 2013

Ever since 1934, the U.S. currency has been the obligation of the U.S. government on their credit, as opposed to being put onto something with stable value, such as gold. If we reinforced our economy with the value of gold now, then we would have a stable platform to fall back on in the case of a future depression, and bounce back from the one we're in now. This will also ease global transaction processes, and raise the global standard of our dollar.
