Maglev trains are able to reach faster speeds than a traditional wheel and axial train. The tracks are a bit more expensive to construct, but they require far less maintenance than traditional tracks. Such a project would create several new jobs and greatly benefit the economy. It will also provide a much more efficient means of public transportation. Countries like Japan already have Maglev trains in operation.
