Begin construction of mass public transportation (the electric train) as platformed By Mr. President.

Created by D.C. on January 20, 2013

In the 2010 State of the Union address, President Obama spoke of beginning construction on high speed, clean energy railways around the country, yet nothing has become of them, three years later. We the People would like something of a series of mass transit railways similar to the transcontinental railways of the 19th century. It would create American jobs, reducing unemployment, and better the infrastructure of America, sling-shotting our great nation to the top of a more modern, technological era, leading as we should. The details are up to Congress, and the president's administration, but this is a project we should begin in investing in as a nation.
