It has been far too long since America has been on the Moon. The Moon has so many opportunities available.
-Telescopes could be based there to get an view of space without the obstruction of city lights
-Solar Energy could be collected nonstop because the each side of the moon gets 14 straight days of sunlight. Microwave the energy back to Earth and the energy crisis could be solved.
-It could be the first step to permanent human residence in space.
A few decades from now we could have towns and cities on the Moon but the first steps must be taken now.
