Begin development of a secure electronic voting system.

Huge benefits to both voters and government could be realized if it were possible to provide a secure electronic voting platform. In addition to streamlining the counting process, we could make voting vastly more accessible to the population. A secure electronic platform could be accessed from a typical computer connected to the internet as well as any number of mobile devices. Providing this level of accessibility would alleviate the difficulties experienced by many voters with demanding work schedules or other responsibilities. Furthermore, it is not difficult to imagine a notification system which proactively encourages voters to participate in elections which they are eligible to vote in. One could imagine record voter participation for both government offices and ballot issues.
