Switzerland will soon be voting on a system of minimum income for it's citizens. This is a system that will happen eventually as fewer jobs are available with an ever increasing working class. There are machines that can do the vast majority of jobs that are still available and it's only a matter of time until they are used.
Google has a self driving car that has driven over 300,000 miles without an incident. The time will come where the number of jobs for professional drivers will be almost 0.
Instead of creating jobs for people to do that don't need to be done we can simplify our society. We would no longer have to create new systems and reasons to give out money.
We have the food to feed everyone in America. We just need to give it to them.
Everyone, not just the poor gets this.
