We believe that the construction of the fourth phase of the Keystone Pipeline (Keystone XL), will mark a perpetuation of a century-long habit of investing in fossil fuel production. We also believe that the science on climate change is real and that humanity's addiction to fossil fuels as the blood of the economy is not making the situation better. We believe that it is time to stop this habit of investing in an antiquated form of energy and show the rest of the world that we have decided to start doing things differently, cleaner, more globally responsible. With all of the money and resources dedicated to the construction of this section, we suggest be repurposed in building a carbon-free economy; carbon-free energy production & infrastructure, research & development, and public education
