We have the resources to stabilize our economy right now, but we refuse to use them because we are afraid of harming the environment. If we began drilling immediately, within a few years, we could advance our technology beyond the need for oil, but we have to stabilize our economy before that can happen. What's more important to us: keeping America beautiful or keeping America a self-sufficient nation?
