We petition to the Obama Administration to begin military action to halt the horrific human rights violations and genocide occurring in Iraq. The terrorist organization Islamic State is conducting an underreported, undercondemned, and seemingly unnoticed rampage of destruction against religious minorities in Iraq. Shiites, Christians, and Yezidis are being displaced, tortured, raped, and publicly slaughtered in grotesque publicity videos. We earnestly urge the Obama Administration to open its eyes to the horrific events taking place in Iraq and seek an end through military intervention.
