Space is vast and is filled with wonders. It is also filled with minerals, metals, and other materials in far greater abundance than what is presently located on Earth. Knowledge about the cosmos is also available. Humanity has a drive to explore the world around us, and we have failed to explore as much as we can. We cling to our home like rats in a sinking ship, using up resources that will end up causing wars to be fought over them when they can be obtained in space. We need to set foot back into space before we destroy ourselves due to our problems.
Through extensive space exploration and colonization, conditions on our planet can be improved. If we do nothing, then another species may end up studying us in museums because we failed as a species. Should we let that happen? Yes or No?
