Congressional entitlements should be included in any discussion of entitlement reform. Men and women of Congress should be required to pay for their health insurance. They should not be entitled to vote on their own salary increases. This power should remain with the people through a national referendum. Pensions for congressional members should be moved into 401k plans so that their retirement would be directly influenced by the health and wealth of our economy.
