Provide for all Americans, without regard to financial abilities, quality healthcare, a basic human right. Further, we the undersigned believe this to be in the best long-term interests of America and it's citizens.
We believe the only way this can be done would be via a single payer healthcare system, one that covers every American. Doing so can provide Americans the certainty that healthcare costs will not bankrupt us, will not keep us from seeking the care we need in a timely manner and will provide an equality of care that is currently lacking.
While we acknowledge that this would be a difficult task, we also believe that due to the current political climate, meaningful healthcare reform can best be undertaken during this, your final term.
