I would ask the Federal government to investigate the constitutionality of the State of Michigan's Emergency Manager Referendum and proceed with the impeachment hearings regarding Gov. Rick Snyder's ability to appoint officials and repeal those elected. The process has now snowballed into a public health issue, maybe criminal, regarding the city of Flint and its now poisonous drinking water which he and his appointed officials have become neglectfully at fault.
