When families are struggling the Department of Children and Family Services steps in and removes children from their natural parents for absurd reasons, which on many accounts, violates the entire family's civil rights and liberties. On several occassions, these workers remove children without proper paperwork and enter the homes of their client's without a proper search warrant and remove their children. My children were removed from me in Feb. 2012. My husband and I did everything in our power to get them back, for two years. The court had no choice but to terminate our rights or allow reunification. The children were returned to us in Oct. 2013. The agency violated the due process of law, violated my entire family's civil rights, while violating the due process of law.
