Begin legislation preventing any President or former President from being the President/Member of the United Nation

Created by R.D. on June 17, 2014

The American Exceptionalism must remain in tact. It is vital that the United States remain completely independent and never be at war with itself in having to choose between loyalties to a current administration and the prerogatives of a former administration. The inclination to yield power to the United Nations while a sitting president is in office will be diminished if they cannot look for future power employment after their term is finished as President of the United States. It is not considered in the Constitution to limit or identify the potential concerns of a worldwide government which would in effect become a superior fourth branch of government upon the assumption of power by a former President. America must not be put into a position to act against itself.
