Begin a National Conversion to the Metric System of Measurement.

The United States is currently using the English system as our National unit of measurement. However we are one of 3 countries that does not use the Metric System overall. Meaning our roads are in miles per hour, and our engineers use inches instead of centimeters etc. However children in America are being taught both the Metric System and English System since the majority of the world uses the Metric System. Other countries such as Canada and the United Kingdom have undergone successful conversions to the Metric System. Many international businesses already require the Metric System. It is another language barrier hurting travel, immigration and overall communication with the rest of the world. People say math is an international language, but it is not when different units are used.
