The 2nd Amendment was written for another century, an era that no longer exists. We are no longer in frontier times, and are no longer under the threats that justified a militia.
THEREFORE, the 2nd Amendment MUST be repealed, and all weapons owned by citizens who are not law enforcement or military personnel must be confiscated and destroyed. Any citizens in possession of any gun after the repeal must be imprisoned.
