I am writing this petition in part to give people who love their country everywhere a chance to have THEIR voices heard against the smaller number rallying and demanding the end of this great Republic, a country which has stood for individual freedoms and industry that no other country can match.
I believe that if there were regular, well-known information releases by the President to address status of various concerns of the electorate that it might do a lot to combat misinformation, misunderstanding and mistrust.
More than anything, though, I wanted to create a petition that says, "We, the undersigned, continue to love and support our country and its union. We have too much history together to turn on each other and destroy it."
