Begin peace talks with North Korea (DPRK)

As you may be aware, North Korea and South Korea have been bitter enemies for over half a century. Many insults were fired, threats were made, and there was limited contact between each state. North Korea is in a state of turmoil, with a young & inexperienced leader who is unpopular among his subjects, and, as shown in a Frontline presentation, the seeds of dissent are being sown. Don't let a bloody revolt takes place. I believe I speak on the behalf of all the signers of this petition, and South Korean citizens, when I say that North Korea should become peaceful. Having been a South Korean resident for half my life, I understand the feelings of the Korean people. We urge you, Mr.President, to begin peace talks with the DPRK, and bring peace to the Korean Peninsula. Thank you.
