Begin planning a robust fixed rail network composed of high speed, regional, and light rail to rebuild America's economy

Created by D.K. on November 05, 2011

Goal: A more robust fixed rail infrastructure composed of a network of high speed, heavy rail, regional rail, and local light rail transit. This will help rebuild our inner cities, create more robust Central Business Districts, and increase low carbon human mobility while generating low, medium, and high skilled domestic jobs and helping us compete economically with rising powers like India, China, and Russia. Federal Action: Close corporate tax breaks/loop holes and subsidizes. Take the year average of those monies and put those monies into the goals set forth above for the next 20+ years. Then leverage new emerging geographic analysis software and other scientific facets to study urban blight, urban movement, human travel trends, and logistical food chains to generate a plan and action.
