Donald J Trump is an embarrassment to our nation. Worse, he has promoted fear and hate among us, and by doing so emboldened some to murder. He has repeatedly and demonstrably lied to the American people. His racism, lack of reason and outrageous and inflammatory rhetoric have caused severe damage to our country's reputation, and have provided aid and comfort to our enemies.
We are at war with terrorism. Those who would do us harm are our enemies. And Donald Trump, by his egregious behavior, is providing encouragement, support and tangible aid to our enemies, both here and abroad.
This is treason by any definition, and Donald Trump should answer to that charge. Running for President, even if supported by a misguided, but vocal minority, does not put anyone above the law.
