The desire to be re-elected supercedes the need of our nations Congressmen/women and Senators sent to Washington to do the business of the country. Many elected to the Legislative Branch are no longer Public Servants, but rather, Public Employees making decisions based not on the needs of "The People", but are based on how he/she will be perceived with regard to their future election campaign. To maintain focus while doing the business of the Country, legislators must concentrate on the needs of current and future Americans and not focussing on their political futures. To this end, limit both Senators and Congressmen/women to one (1) term each, for a period not to exceed six(6) years and four (4) years respectively. Capitol Hill belongs to "The People", not just a select few.
