The United States should, upon the appropriate funds being available, create a national fingerprint database that is MANDATORY for all citizens to be registered with when turning 18, or voluntarily at a sooner age. This will help solve crimes when there is no previous record of an individual, and solve multiple unsolved crimes that include a fingerprint as evidence.
