On Novemeber 6th 2012 54% of Puerto Ricans voted in favorof changing the political relationship between Puerto Rico and the United States.
At the same time, of all the "self determination" options available, Satehood won by a landslide.
Therefore, it is evident thap the people of Puerto Rico have given the first step towards being accepted as the 51st state of the Union.
The President of the Unites States must act upon this unequivocal mandate and begin the process to accept Puerto Rico as the 51st state of the Union.
