The future of roadways is here! Imagine a "Smart road" that is powered by solar panels, with LED lights to project lanes, and caution lights for hazards ahead. Imagine a road that would constantly remain above freezing to keep the dangers of "black ice" and packed snow a thing of the past. This would start the new generation of roadways and promote a large number of jobs across the country for many years. Well these roadways are already here!These solar-panel based roadways would also constantly harness energy from the sun, producing the energy needed, to not only to heat these roadways, but give energy back into the grid, largely cutting back our carbon footprint.
