Seven years ago I almost killed my family and went to school with a weapon. For the month before this event I had been on Anti-Depressants and, the weeks leading up to that day, was on a spiral downwards. I have never hurt anyone before, nor thought of harming myself or others. The only change in my life was the introduction of Anti-Depressants. Im not the only person who has gone through this, but I am one of the undocumented few that got help before they did anything. This petition is to look for a link between mass shootings and chemical alterations that cause these tragedies. Right now all it takes is looking into these crimes and confirming that the chemical imbalance caused by depression is often times exagerated by SSRIs and anti-depressants.
