Due to the fact that most current conflicts have been waged and either won or lost on the backs of United States infantry, whether they have been Army, Marines, or Special Forces, the need is clear to provide for the protection as well as the enhancement of our ground troops. The purpose behind this is to not only increase effectiveness and overall efficiency, but also reduce causalities, whether they are injuries or fatalities. The suit's primary goals should be that of enhancing overall user mobility and strength, while maximizing protection and reducing recoil from standard issue weaponry, such as current assault rifles and LMGs.
