President Obama must instruct the FCC to begin rulemaking proceedings to solve the problem of misinformation and missatatements on the public airwaves. This is more important than banning 7 words. The matter that passes for "news" has created the national crisis that is paralyzing our Congress. The politicians don't know who to pander to. The government has a compelling state interest in protecting the marketplace of ideas and maintaining an informed electorate to have the process of our Republice to function properly.
Propose legislation in Congress to remedy the situation. Any congressman who votes against that legislation is voting for lies and misstatements on the air. Please help us maintain an informed electorate.
