We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

To begin a serious study into the most influential factors regarding mass shootings and gun violence.

Created by S.B. on July 06, 2016

On behalf of Americans of all varieties, I ask that congress, or any other able body would allocate funds to seriously studying the major factors of gun violence in our country via a non-biased group, in order to clear the air around how the problem can be solved. I, and many other Americans feel that, in order to solve a problem, the cause of the issue must be clear, and that the only thing that can be done until then is treat the symptoms of a sick society and country without curing either, and ask that when the causes can be defined, the appropriate actions can follow. This is not only for the safety and comfort of Americans, but also to ease some of the division between our countrymen.
