Pres. Putin has expanded the boarders of the Russian Federation twice in a manner that is illegitimate. Military means to push fourth political ambition and agenda by invading a neighboring nation is both against International Law and a practice used by the Soviet Union. The Russian leaders must realize the Soviet era is over. The Russian Federation is just as subject to the United Nations as any other nation. For example: the United States could not simply occupy Baja California (currently apart of Mexico) and stage a "democratic" vote to join the U.S. without threat of war from Russia or China.
