Better inspection of products imported from China

Recently,it has come to my attention that certain types of dog treats imported to the U.S. from China have caused sickness and even death to the animals who have consumed them. We also probably remember the issue of toxic paint on toys made in China. I propose a vast improvement of product inspection of Chinese imports. If any products are deemed a health risk they are to be returned to China. If China cannot improve it's product safety then maybe we need to look for a reduction or a complete end to trade with this country. Maybe we need to once again produce most of our consumer goods in the U.S.
