The current official portrait of John F. Kennedy, commisioned by his wife postmortum, shows the President looking as if was defeated.
I want to suggest the White House aquire the oil portrait, dedicated in 1964 by JFK's friend from youth- Charles Kerns.
The painting is at Stonehill College in North Easton, MA..
I feel that this painting shows the real JFK better than the somber one his wife chose.
