Better Pay For Teachers

Teachers in the United States are underpaid. In some states some teacher get paid way less than in other states. The Department of Education needs to make teachers' salaries better across the board instead of throwing so much money in testing and giving it to the publishing companies perhaps they should invest some of that money into giving hard working teachers better pay. In "Right to Work" states teachers are blocked from going on strike or re-negotiate their salaries. Teachers work long hours before and after school and on weekends, buy supplies for the classroom out of their own money and still manage to live and raise families with ridiculously low wages. Enough is enough. Teachers deserve better pay. President Obama and Secretary of Education need to do something and fix this.
