the nations youth spend about 12,000 hours of their life in school. i feel as the public school system isn't teaching them the right things they need to succeed in life. adolescents should be taught how to do taxes, apply for government services (if needed) , how to write resume's, etc. But instead they are getting taught the Pythagorean theorem which they will never need in life unless they chose a career that requires knowledge like this. " we're getting you ready for life and its challenges " is what most public schools say, if you are i'd like you to teach my children the right things.
