The Dept. Veterans Affairs are needlessly slow and this should be resolved. I am a Combat Veteran from Iraq and have several disbility claims that were denied due to "lack of evidence." At the time I was mentally unable to submit the paperwork. However, most of the information requested was already in my VA record. I hsven't been able to work consistantly in over 3 years. I have lost most of my possessions and now I'm considered homeless. I tried to return to school but the GI Bill money still hasn't come in forcing me to withdraw. It seems to be all talk when it comes to helping veterans. NOTHING POSITIVE has been seen by me. I got hurt in that war and eveyone wants to talk about helping me get my life back on track but does nothing.
