The Kurdish government and Peshmerga soldiers are one of only a few true regional allies actively fighting against ISIS and Sunni Extremism on the ground in both Iraq and Syria. They deserve more support than the US has given them in the past. If we want to help make a difference then we need to supply the Peshmerga with the heavy weapons and supplies that we would send US soldiers into battle with. Peshmerga are doing the dirty work on the ground, we should help them as much as we can.
