We, hereby urge Mr. Obama and his administration to discharge his executive powers as President of the United States for the betterment of the American citizens of Puerto Rico, by amending the “Jones Act” (P.L. 66–261) applicability to the Commonwealth, and by re-establishing Section 936 of the Internal Revenue Code.
This, with the aims of helping the Puerto Rican government to have the tools to growth their economy –and in turn helping the US economy grow even more, and guarantee the safety of American investments.
